The Trust is dedicated to the development of all staff. There are a range of professional development opportunities at all sites and via our centralised online learning platform.
The Leadership Academy has now been successfully running for two years. It is a rigorous training programme designed to create the Trust’s leaders of the future. The programme will be tailored to meet individual professional development needs and will be suited to colleagues who are highly aspirational.
Objectives of the programme:-
- Help participants to accurately identify their leadership and development needs in relation to national standards;
- Provide learning activities including conferences, internship placements and workshops;
- Offer best practice experiences for the participant through providing first-hand experience.
What the programme involves:-
The commitment is to attend two conferences, a one-to-one coaching session and attend selected workshops throughout the year. Participants are advised that a significant proportion of the training will take place in twilight sessions.
Eligibility to apply?-
Teaching colleagues on the Upper Pay Spine and/or with Teaching and Learning responsibilities.
